Play dough recipe

Mix in pan

1 cup flour

½ cup salt

2 teaspoons cream of tarter


1 cup water

1 tablespoon cooking oil

a few drops of food color


Mix together and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture forms a ball.

Cool the dough slightly and knead until soft and smooth.

This recipe stores well in an airtight container or zip-lock bag. It is less crumbly and lasts longer than many purchased brands.
